LUNCH AND LEARN EVENT POSTPONED

Unfortunately due to anticipated travel disruption, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone this event. We hope to be able to run the event in the Spring of 2023 – this web page will be updated when a new date is announced. If you have any queries about the event, or would like to register your interest for the Spring event, please email christina.yardley@barkersprocurement.com

The current economic climate is volatile, with the threat of recession looming and supply chains under threat due to global uncertainties that have far reaching consequences.

As a procurement function how do you stand firm in such uncertain times? What decisions do you need to make to ensure that your company is not only resilient but thrives?

Join us for a lunch and learn event which:

  • Considers how a procurement maturity model approach can provide you with a focused, actionable procurement strategy that will enable a higher level of performance and impact.
  • Brings together the latest thinking and practical viewpoints on the application of procurement maturity models, reviewing their value to support procurement functions to meet new challenges driven by economic uncertainty and secure growth against the odds.
  • Reveals case studies of procurement maturity growth strategy in practice, with sound advice on implementation realities and advice to facilitate success.
  • Shares insight on procurement progression from trusted senior procurement professionals, and the practical steps you can take to drive your career forward.
  • Enables discussion and peer to peer learning through an informal networking lunch (provided).

Who Should Attend?

This is an exclusive, invitation-only, event for senior procurement professionals who are responsible for the procurement strategy of their organisation and who are currently addressing the challenge of achieving business growth during a period of economic uncertainty.

We are welcoming professionals from across both the public and private sector to share their experiences of procurement maturity and those who wish to know more about how the IR35 repeal may affect their organisation.

The event is designed to facilitate senior peer-to-peer interaction, encouraging discussion, challenge and debate.

Why You Should Attend

Our aim is that delegates will leave with:

  • enhanced ideas to accelerate growth and drive resilience in their organisation through a focus on procurement maturity
  • a broader and richer network of procurement professionals to facilitate knowledge share and best practice
  • a drive to push forward within their procurement career with actionable steps to facilitate this.
