Barkers is the mid-market and corporate market implementation partner for Coupa and our practice is growing rapidly as we deliver first class solutions across a range of clients. As a result, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Solutions Architect to join our fantastic team. As an experienced professional with more than 4 years’ experience in delivering P2P solutions, this role will provide you with the support, training and experience to rapidly develop your career both as a technical expert and as a consultant.

The Role

  • Take a leading role in all matters relating to technical design, configuration and deployment of the platform into the client environment.
  • Support and contribute to the end-to-end client life cycle, from initial proposal, implementation, project management and embedding the platform within the client.
  • Be experienced in, and be able to undertake all aspects of implementation, and complete all Coupa configuration components (from Coupa system setup to supplier enablement’s).
  • Be able to lead workshops and design review sessions – you will ensure that clients and plans stay connected and effective.
  • Be able to confidently and effectively work in a multi-client environment and be experienced in working towards time-bound project plans.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to customers during the implementation process.
  • Create and/or improve implementation templates, training and presentations.
  • Deploy our implementation methodologies and use leading edge industry knowledge to develop impactful functional design.
  • Lead functional and design discussions with customers and partners
  • Map business processes to best practice solutions
  • Lead in design and architecture reviews
  • Translate business process requirements into functional and technical options
  • Share relevant prior experiences with customers and colleagues.
  • Provide mentoring and training to wider team members.

About You

  • A track record (4 years plus) of delivery and implementation of Purchase to Pay systems of which 1 year must be with Coupa systems, delivering end to end implementation
  • Completion of both Coupa Platform and Partner certification
  • Experience of Sourcing, Category Management and Contract Management principles is an advantage
  • Able to build strong client relationships
  • Relevant professional qualification (CIPS, Project Management, Programme Management)
  • Highly numerate with a love for data and technical architecture
  • Highly organised, you should have extremely strong client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go live
  • Be able to mentor and support other team members
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond well under pressure
  • Creative approach to problem solving

This role is hybrid, with a mix of working from home and time each week in our head office. Therefore, applicants need to be within commuting distance of Chorley. Some travel to client sites and attendance at industry events will be required.
